The Montreal Fashion & Design Festival is a celebration of the creative culture. Mcgill College Avenue hosts an energetic and diverse mix of fashion shows, live performances and design exhibitions. It is a celebration of summer and fashion at its best. The purpose of this project was to visually articulate the “feel” of the festival by creating a system that consisted of a large format poster, program booklet and ticket design. I aimed to capture the creative mind by using organic, flowing multicoloured smoke as the image. The focal point of the system resembles the silhouette of a woman’s figure with her hand on her hip, similar to a model posing at the end of a runway. The image is used through out the system bringing balance to each component.

Inspired by friends, Snapshot is a tongue-in-cheek look at the type of images commonly taken by and of girls when they go out for a night on the town. It details everything the Party Girl should consider when getting their picture taken, from their facial expressions and hand gestures to their signature pose and group shot dynamics. Images were borrowed from an event photographer and content was written by me.

Tips & Tricks
Chutes & Ladders is a very traditional game for children. It is aimed at an audience ages 4 and up but is mostly catered to the preschooler set. The objective for the Re-design was to update this classic children’s game to something more graphic and visually appealing. This new interpretation of the game has a more grown up feel and can be played by people of all ages.
The components for the game include a slip case, the box containing the game which folds out into the game board, 4 game pieces, a built in spinner and an instruction manual. The game is bilingual and the manual provided folds out into a poster explaining how to play the game in both English and French.
