Shane, who always had a passion for art, abandoned math, physics and chemistry at the last possible moment based on the advice of his high school art teacher, Mr. Skuce, and a tour of a local advertising agency. With their help Shane discovered design and switched his university applications. After his second year of university Shane got a summer position as a junior designer at McMillan, the advertising agency that had inspired him to pursue design, and has continued to do freelance design and illustration throughout his university education. McMillan taught Shane that professional design can go hand in hand with good music, long hair and zen gardens, and that the most important thing you can do as a designer is to listen to your clients and ask questions.
After graduating Shane started up a design studio called Foxhound Studio with Jared Polowick, another graduate.
This video briefly looks into the history and evolution of man, with a focus on morality. Current ethical trends like veganism and going green are looked into too. Finally, this video looks at where man might be going next.
This is all done in a quirky black humor sort of way in an illustrated graphic novel sort of style. It is corny at times and gloomy at others. Each scene is a frozen moment in time created by combining my own illustrations with stock special effects and a narration oh-so-eloquently spoken by Payam Rajabi.
