Swoop!

The reason for the design of the Swoop!™ Yogurt/Parfait is to better reinvent the packaging for this line of product. To keep the granola fresh and away from the yogurt until it is ready to be consumed, the diagonally-placed flap has been designed so the granola falls on the yogurt as the cap is being removed.
As well, in order to reduce plastic waste, the top divider has been replaced with a water-resistant paper. The package comes in a pack of three flavored yogurts of Banana, Strawberry and Blueberry, and the forth cup that carries three colored napkins and foldable spoons that match the color of each flavor.

Live. Work. Play.

A visual representation of feelings and freedom made out of 4493 photographs shot at high speed. The premise is set to emphasize the freedom of living and being detached from the materialistic world via 34 four-letter words that transform into each other. The typeface is designed by me and is called Workshop.http://www.vimeo.com/10871680

Enlightenment

As the title represents, this poster is about the “Age of Enlightenment”. This was a European intellectual movement of the 17th – 18th century in which ideas concerning God, reason, nature, and man were blended into a world view that inspired revolutionary developments in art, philosophy, and politics. Enlightenment Era aimed to combat superstition and prejudice and placed human betterment above the supernatural. During this time, the book of Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen was written and published to ‘enlighten’ or in other words ‘awaken’ the general public of the issue of how religions and churches have been suppressing the movement of the arts and science. The walking up the stairs towards the light resembles this movement.  This poster is created with more than 30,000 words of this book.

Eclipse

A typographic experiment with fire. More than 700 photos were taken for this project. The final image (shown on top) was chosen for its accurate portrayal of an eclipse. It shows how an eclipse starts off brightly and then dies off to darkness.

Seven Days

This information graphic shows seven days worth of collected data on the amount of technology use in my daily life. Starting from midnight, the entire 24 hour cycle is shown from top to bottom. The smooth color transition represents the flow of time through sunrise and sundown. The size of the icons show the number of times that each technology has been used on that particular time slot.  The title “Seven Days” is written using a custom-type designed for this poster.
