Mr. Veres was conceived within the deepest, darkest pits of Hell, whereupon he overthrew his masters and clawed his way up into our world. Although he currently assumes the form of a 21-year-old human male, it is widely believed that he is, in fact, some sort of anthropomorphic reptilian shape-shifter; or possibly a giant bug. He sports two horns atop his head, and is generally considered to be responsible for most evil happening in the world today, including but not limited to: violence, pestilence, injustice, hate and greed. His association with YSDN is merely part of an elaborate money-laundering scheme, and one should not mistakenly assume that he has any actual design skills whatsoever.
Alchemetal is a highly ornamental, Unicase display face intended to be used with grungy, mysterious or aggressive visual themes. The name is an amalgam of Alchemy and Metal, aiming to describe an over-the-top satire of the imagery commonly associated with the discipline of Alchemy and Metal music. I wanted to key in on the often-harsh Gothic letterforms employed by many heavier Metal bands and the mysterious and magical connotations that are often attributed to Alchemy.
Nabob Coffee is pushing for more environmentally- and socially- responsible packaging and business practices. This project attempts to redesign their current product line-up and replace it with one that is more in touch with their campaign.
