Named after the Arabic derivation of “cotton”, QuTn is a product of fine quality cotton. It is 100% certified organic cotton to provide the softest and safest materials, and it is chemical free. This is a product that needed a branding and package design for three kinds of cotton products: cotton swabs, cotton balls, and cotton squares. The design of the boxes reflects the pureness of the product. The box itself is constructed with 100% cotton paper. The result is a box that looks like cotton and looks as soft and luxurious as the product itself.

Sprouted Brown Rice

While we are on our way to discontinuing the use of plastic grocery bags, we still find ourselves constantly throwing away plastic bags used for packaging products we buy regularly. Inspired to make everyday living more sustainable, the goal was to transform the packaging into reusable objects. This repackaging of rice (a product commonly packaged in plastic) comes in three different sizes, each transformable in its own way. All being reversible, the bags transform into aprons, drawstring pouches, and lastly, grocery bags to replace those wasteful plastic bags.

Why is 8 Afraid of 7?

This is a creative take on a 10-second counting leader with a playful story line. At every second counting down, the scene is zoomed out and the preceding number at least twice as big swallows the previous number. Eventually, the last number, zero flips over and floats to the surface. The title is named Why is 8 Afraid of 7? after the popular joke, “Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate (8) 9.” In this particular case, 8 is afraid of 7 because 7 eventually eats 8.
