Discover Circadian Rhythms

This book was designed to educate readers about their natural inner clock, enabling them to track their pattern in order to find their own rhythm and live according to it. The book opens on both sides, one side dedicated to information and research, while the other side acts as a journal and data tracking device. The book consists of joint pages that can be opened to view the book as one long continuous strip, enabling users to look at their data tracking as a whole and easily make connections.

Chroma Magazine

Chroma is a magazine about colour that target creative thinkers between the ages of 25-35. It strives to entertain yet educate readers about matters relating to colour and other creative matters. The tone of the magazine is enlightening, playful and diverse. The name Chroma was chosen because it means “purity or intensity of colour”. The cover features a custom designed masthead and vibrant watercolour imagery. The spreads have a two-column grid structure, with the design approach dependent on the subject matter of the article, allowing for creative freedom, which suits this abstract topic.

Baby Food Redesign

The intention of the new baby food packaging design was to target young mothers, especially those who were mothers for the first time, to better inform them of the type of foods they should be feeding their baby as well as encourage them to purchase in bulk for more convenience.

To emphasize the organic brand, I decided to use close up, vibrant photographs of the fruits and vegetables that made up the contents of each flavour. This way the consumers can clearly and quickly identify the contents and recognize it as pure and natural, as the brand suggests. The labels were created in the shape of bibs to add a playful element and mimic the way a bib rests around a baby’s neck.

To bring environmental consciousness to this project, I designed the bulk packaging using no glue. A step-by-step instructional diagram is located on the inside of the box that allows users to reverse the box, revealing a baby-themed decorative pattern, and allowing the box to be reused as a gift bag.
