Mr.Goudas Sugar

For this project I had the opportunity to re design an existing package of Mr. Goudas 100% pure cane sugar. One challenge I faced with this project was choosing a more effective container that would solve the concerns customers had with typical sugar packages. I chose to offer two different packages to consumers, one being a reusable airtight container, and another a resealable bag. Both of these packages offer customers wide enough openings to fit cups, easy pouring, resealable, options to keep the product fresh. The container option also offers a sustainable approach because it can continue to be reused over time.

The challenge for the visual design of the packages was to stand out from the competition.  My solution was based on the idea that we all have different uses for our sugar and the best way to represent the product would be to show it in its pure form and focus on the freshness and quality of the product.

Flick Magazine

I was given the opportunity to create a magazine that would inspire and stimulate the minds of creative professionals in all industries of art and design. The concept of Flick came from a desire to see a monthly publication that would serve the minds of creative professionals and match their unique and vibrant personalities. The challenge of this project was creating a unique brand with authentic style. Flick is designed to be a reliable guide based on the idea that exposure to different methods of creative thinking will help us on the path to generating new ideas.

The format of the magazine is a unique 10.5”x 9.5” which helps to visually set it apart on the shelf. To emulate the core values the aesthetic style of the magazine blends clean typography with bright captivating imagery and ample white space. The mood is innovative and forward-looking and adopts a straight edged collage technique to keep the contents and department pages from seeming cluttered. Bands of colour and bright type sweep selectively through the magazine bringing a distinct personality to each section.
