YORK/SHERIDAN DESIGN GRAD SHOW 2010

This is a creative take on a 10-second counting leader with a playful story line. At every second counting down, the scene is zoomed out and the preceding number at least twice as big swallows the previous number. Eventually, the last number, zero flips over and floats to the surface. The title is named Why is 8 Afraid of 7? after the popular joke, “Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate (8) 9.” In this particular case, 8 is afraid of 7 because 7 eventually eats 8.
