Flux magazine focuses on the joys that come with the changing seasons. Aimed at adult nature lovers who are young at heart, Flux encourages them to explore and build upon what nature has to offer. Flux is issused four times a year, once for each season and the cover features an image that embodies the current season as a whole. The nameplate conveys the meaning of flux: continuous movement, through the flow and connection of the letters.
Chasing Frosty, the first feature article of Flux magazine, takes a playful poke at rediscovering a great winter activity: building a snowman. Taking the Polar Plunge is the second feature article and looks at the popular but often under publicized winter event of polar bear swimming. Illustration is integrated with typography to give a whimsical feel and to capture the event in a unique way.
