Fifty-two thoughts on twenty-six scenes

See all works by Joanna Poon

Fifty-two thoughts on twenty-six scenes aims to tell a series of events using the perspectives of two characters. The book shows that there will always be many sides to one issue and that everyone looks at the world with a pair of tinted glasses on, whether they like to believe it or not. Each event is told with those two characters, allowing the reader to get a glimpse as to what they are like. Together, they paint a bigger picture of the events unfolding and the scenery surrounding. The design of the book then hinges onto the duality of the text and supports the reader through understanding the text with various typographic treatments and contrasting imagery.
