The idea for this book was cultivated during a visit to the mall upon passing a booth that sold pet accessories. It seemed unnecessary for dogs to have all the extra items humans deemed necessary for them. From sweaters to shoes to goggles, it seemed the possibilities were endless, but did a dog really want or need any of these things?
Intended for dog lovers and owners of all ages, the book contains original writing and illustrations and is written from a dog’s point of view. It tells the stories of one dog and her friends as they provide a humourous commentary on things they consider to be important, compared to what humans may think they need or what they want to give them.
Accessories Not Included: A Dog’s Perspective on Fashion & Other Pursuits is a hand sewn and bound hardcover book.
