YSDN Grad Show 2010 has finally arrived! The fermenting cellar filled with enthusiastic family and friends as soon as the doors opened at 6:00pm. It was a magnificent scene seeing the ocean of people admiring and interacting with the student work.
The work is organized in different sections: books, posters, systems, and screen-based. This careful layout made way-finding a piece of cake, allowing the crowd to go through all pieces of work.
The evening climaxed with the wonderful speeches given by the guest speakers, which accurately summarized the four years of accomplishment of this years undergraduates. The amazing speeches strengthened the celebration environment, adding positive energy to the show.
Family and friends night went smoothly without a doubt. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good time. This couldn’t happen without the hard work put in to the planning and labour by the student body. A big thank you goes to the professors, guest speakers, students and everyone who came because they are the ones that made this show possible!
The next big night is the coming Tuesday, where the students get to show off their work to the industry. Good luck everyone!
