Alas, after four exhausting but exhilarating days, the York/Sheridan Grad Show 2010 has come to an end. This experience has been unforgettable and we part ways with a ton of valuable lessons, strengthening experiences and great memories.
Thank you to all of our visitors (be it friend, family or industry creatives) who made time to come see the show; words could not describe the humble and gracious gratitude we extend for your interest in our passion, even for just a while. We appreciate this opportunity to share our designs with you.

A huge and sincere thank you is also extended to everyone who made the show happen: our sponsors, our donators, our professors (especially Brian Tsang, Angela Iarocci and Ed Naus) and the Distillery lighting team were essential to the production of the show. Additionally, all of our guest speakers and student volunteers made the nights a memorable experience.

It was a bold step for a graduate show to move away from the conventional individual-trade-show-booths into a collaborative presentation that focused on the content: design. We re-thought how the viewer navigates through the space of a graduate show, not confining them to walk through individually sold cells, but rather allowed them an open interaction with the mediums in the native format.

This new direction was not without its hardships, and required a strong collaboration and highly-organized team effort. Whether you loved or hated it, YSDN 10 has shown the ability of our team to go beyond standard conventions, thinking out of the box and, most importantly, making it all happen regardless all the obstacles. We went for it all the way until the end and have no regrets.
