Tonight, our soon-to-be-graduates dressed to impress as industry creatives were cordially invited to see our humble grad show. The space was packed, providing amazing opportunity to expose our best work to industry professionals. We would like to thank all of the speakers for their encouraging and delightful speeches that gave a great introduction to the next step into a big world.
YSDN Grad Show 2010 has finally arrived! The fermenting cellar filled with enthusiastic family and friends as soon as the doors opened at 6:00pm. It was a magnificent scene seeing the ocean of people admiring and interacting with the student work.
Here we are folks, the big day! In this penultimate installment, we asked the students if being a designer was a lifestyle, and what it is they love about Toronto.
The past four days have been an amazing experience; setting up the show in less than 10 hours, showing our work to over 1200 guests on the first night alone, and having the opportunity to share our passion with so many people.
These four days, however, couldn’t have happened without much more preparation. In addition to the past 4 hard-working years at YSDN, the show has taken 8 months of planning and preparation.
